Hello

I’m Joanne Storin, a graphic designer and illustrator living in Boston, Massachusetts. I’ve spent most of my career with Whole Foods Market concepting, designing, and producing every kind of marketing asset you can imagine, from billboards and brochures, to ads and product packaging.

Working with a progressive brand that has such a strong design aesthetic has been the highlight of my career—not only do I see my work actualized all over New England and the entire country, but the range of work has varied so much that I learned something new every day. The nature of retail marketing is fast paced and innovation driven, and I thrive on the expectation to meet the highest standards on tight deadlines.

I’m known for my eagle-eye attention to detail: I can spot a typo, double space or bad leading from a mile away. I'm committed to “the brand,” whatever it may be. I believe that adhering to brand standards can inspire one to think outside the box and in turn produce the most creative and successful solutions to marketing and design challenges.

What else? I love mid-century modern design. I’m a dog lover with two of my own—Janet and Kevin. (Yes, those are dogs.) And last but not least, I’m just passionate about doing good work with good people.
